Amaia Rubio

Labour Law specialist with 11 years of experience. She began her professional career at Urtaran Andres Abogados. In 2018, she founded Gago & Rubio Abogados, focusing her practice on labour law and social security law.

For six years, she served as legal adviser to the trade union Langile Sindikal Batasuna – Unión Sindical Obrera (LSB-USO), gaining in-depth experience in collective bargaining, conflict resolution and labour relations. She has also managed the legal advisory services of the mutual society Fraternidad, which has enabled her to broaden her experience in the practical application of labour and social security regulations within highly complex corporate environments.

She has additionally taken part in legal-tech innovation projects, such as the development of ReclamaTúMismo, a platform designed to automate the management of unpaid invoices and judicial claims for companies, within the EkintZaile support programme promoted by the Provincial Council of Álava and SPRI.

In 2025, she joins BSK Legal & Fiscal, where she continues her professional career providing comprehensive labour advice to companies, handling individual and collective dismissals, disciplinary sanctions, employment regulation proceedings (ERE/ERTE), procedures before the Labour Inspectorate, and labour litigation.
